Our Journey Together
Back in 2014, when I first met the lodge owners, Mhondoro’s dedication to continual innovation was immediately clear. Their steadfast commitment to staff welfare during the 2020 pandemic left a lasting impression, while their early investment in solar power demonstrated a willingness to think differently about operating in a remote safari environment. Continually evolving, the lodge has most recently partnered with Luke Dale Roberts to introduce an ambitious safari-first culinary collaboration in the heart of the African wilderness.

Leveraging 11 years of data and close collaboration with Mhondoro’s management, we crafted a dynamic strategy to support continued commercial success. Our work celebrates the constant evolution of the guest experience while carrying Mhondoro’s conservation and skills-development stories into the trade, positioning the lodge as a distinctive safari destination within the Welgevonden landscape.
Achievements
The Luke Dale Roberts in Residence project remains a proud and ongoing highlight, showcasing the strength of our mutual partnership and its continued positive impact on guest experiences and long-term business performance. Hosting the FGASA Safari Guide of the Year competition at Mhondoro marked a significant milestone, with the lodge continuing to take immense pride in being the first to host this prestigious event in the region. We continue to carry these messages to market with the same level of passion and pride as the dedicated team on the ground, always highlighting the ongoing strides in conservation and the exceptional experiences Mhondoro offers.
